Leipzig Zentralstadion
he �old� Zentralstadion,
which opened in 1956, was once the
largest stadium in Germany. Building
of the new Zentralstadion (capacity
of 45,000) started in Nov 2000 and
the first football match took place
on 7th March 2004.

How to get there:
The stadium is in the west of the
city within walking distance of
Leipzig�s city centre. From
the main station, take the tram
(no. 3, 7, 8 or 15) westbound to
�Sport Forum�.

Duration - 1 hour, must be pre-booked
1½ month�s in advance.
